Subscription terms

This website NZResources.com is owned and operated by Silver Budgie Pty Ltd (SB). Terms detailed govern your subscription to any product available through this site.

Silver Budgie Pty Ltd may change Subscription Terms at any time at its sole discretion. You are responsible for ensuring that you regularly review these terms and any other notices or communications made by SB relating to your NZResources.com subscription.

Registration, authorised use, security & monitoring

Your subscription will not be valid unless and until SB accepts your registration. All personal information you provide SB will be treated in accordance with the company’s Privacy Policy. It is your responsibility to inform SB of any changes to that information. When you register to use NZResources.com, you select a username and SB will issue you with a password, which you may then modify at any time. You must ensure that your username and password remain confidential since you are entirely responsible for all use, activities and charges associated with or arising from any use of your username and password, including unauthorised use of your or any other credit card.

Unless a corporate subscription is organised, each username and password must be used by a single user and is not transferable. An attempt to login with a username and password that is already in use will disconnect the other user. You must notify SB immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your username and password.

As part of your acceptance of our subscription conditions we reserve the right to email you on any matters relating to the resources scene in New Zealand.

Subscription charges

For the current fees for products, services and other features offered in connection with the website, please go to the relevant section. SB reserves the right to change fees it charges for products, services or features offered and will provide you with no less than one month's prior notification of any such change. These changes include adding fees for new/optional products and/or modifying fees for existing products. Unless stated otherwise, to register for a service or product, you must submit valid credit card details. When you submit your credit card details during the registration process the card details will be checked for validity and the payment will be processed or otherwise after any prescribed free trial, if applicable.

If you are paying by cheque then your subscription commences on the day that your cheque is banked by us. If the cheque you sent is not cleared, your subscription will be cancelled and you will have to make a new payment. Whether you pay by credit card or cheque, you will be given notification via email of the commencement of your subscription. Subscription fees and all other fees and charges associated with your subscription (including, but not limited to, any applicable government and local taxes) will be billed automatically to the credit card you provide when registering. If you do not notify us of changes to your billing details, SB will assume all information related to your credit card remains valid and will submit to the card processor all information required for approval, both when you initially subscribe and, if applicable, upon the commencement of any renewal of that subscription. If any subscription fees or other charges billed to your credit card are not processed for any reason, SB shall have the right to suspend your subscription until fees or other charges are paid in full. If payment in full is not received from you, SB reserves the right to cancel your subscription. You cannot suspend your subscription to NZResources.com. Unless stated to be otherwise, charges referred to are GST inclusive.

Termination or cancellation of your subscription

If you cancel your subscription it will continue in effect until your Renewal Date, and then terminate on that day. Subscription fees are non-refundable. SB may, however, at its sole discretion, agree to refund any amounts in exceptional circumstances.

The material on this website is produced using reports by our journalists and correspondents, edited versions of reports by companies and releases provided to stock exchanges, including the NZX, ASX, TSX and London’s AIM Board is copyright to SB. Editorial contributions such as columns and our Soapbox section are also copyright and their reproduction in any electronic or published form required the permission of the editor and the author concerned. Graphics such as maps or pie charts are usually provided or accessed from reports by companies and are not copyright, however, many of the photographs used are taken by SB editorial workers or correspondents and permission must be sought for their reproduction by contacting the editor at ross@nzresources.com.
