Neavesville still in limbo

The brief September quarter report for E2 Metals Ltd (ASX: E2M) shed no new light on the Neavesville gold prospect in New Zealand’s Hauraki goldfield.

The company’s only comment was that an application for extension of obligations to conditions for the Neavesville permit was granted in the June quarter and that all obligations for the permit were now due by April 2020.

Despite indicating after taking up the prospect that it was keen to undertake drilling there has been virtually activity on the licence.

The quarter report said it was developing a new exploration programme on the Mount Hope prospect, south of Cobar in New South Wales, where it was putting a focus on the gold potential.
