The growing relationship between Tilt Renewables Ltd (NZX & ASX: TLT) and the Australian State of Victoria reached a new milestone.
Tilt announced yesterday that the 54 MW Salt Creek wind farm in western Victoria had been successfully commissioned and taken over.
Tilt said yesterday that the wind turbines to date have performed reliably over a variety of wind conditions “producing slightly above expected energy yield in July.”
Chief executive Deion Campbell said the focus now shifts to delivering further shareholder value from the other near-term projects in the development pipeline.
He said Tilt now has an operational capacity of 636 MW and a development pipeline in excess of 3,500 MW, with more than 1,500 MW holding required planning approval.
