Ardern the poll darling

The new One News Colmar Brunton poll has Labour up nine points to 48%, while National has slipped three points to 43%.

Radio New Zealand said this latest poll was bad news for the Government's support partners, with the Greens down two points to 5%, and New Zealand First down two to 3%.

Radio NZ said Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern continued to increase in popularity with a 4% increase in the preferred Prime Minister poll to 41%. Departing National Party leader Bill English slipped down eight points to 20%.

The poll was conducted between February 10 and 14, with Bill English making his resignation announcement on February 13.
